I thought long and hard about starting a blog. Then life happened and the world around us changed very fast. My original plan was to blog in the beginning at least once a month, and gain confidence enough to blog once a week. Then the world for me felt like it stopped.
I didn't blog right away because I was in a state of shock, and confusion. Learning to cope with the new way of doing things...such as zoom meetings, and social distancing. Then seeing everything around us get cancelled, and close down. The art shows, art competitions, galleries, art markets, festivals, cons, recitals both dance and music, silent auctions, and so much more. I know we are still in a state of flux, not sure what will be. Everyone is trying to cope in their own best way.
On the facebook page "The Art Scene" @artstreetmamou I have continued to keep posting about closures, openings, things going from the physical world to the online world, and anything that I think can be helpful and hopeful right now.
"For now I will focus on what I can do today."

The Art Scene not just a Facebook page
I am jumping into a new realm.
The Art Scene has been a Facebook page for many years now. I have kept it updated with information for all types of art and artists. In doing so I have kept opinions out.
The time is now for moving forward with more.
